AEF Technology for freezing
AEF technology generates nano ice crystals inside the cells and intracellular spaces of the food. Moisture is retained during freezing, but cells and the foodstuffs remain intact.
Innovation/Technology/Commercialisation
In broad terms Willow Innovation helps entrepreneurial clients commercialise their intellectual property by providing management services including: development of the product or service, implementation of the Business Plan and the intellectual property (IP) strategy, preparing a business for growth generally. Its Directors have been active participants in the innovation sector for many years, most recently as active contributors to SETsquared, BCS Entrepreneurs, Berkshire Smart Cities Cluster, Technology London Advisors, STEM Advisers, plus the Thames Valley and Science Vale communities. Additionally, Willow Innovation actively runs companies as an equity holder. Located in the STFC Harwell science and innovation campus, the consultancy operates at the intersections of innovation|technology|commercialisation. The Directors work with inventors and entrepreneurial SMEs up to larger corporates, plus incubators, helping them commercialise and exploit their ideas and intellectual property. Depending on the challenge and complexity of a client engagement, Willow Innovation will assemble and manage a virtual team of organisations/individuals to deliver a project or submit a strong proposal to a competitive tender. There have been two such occurrences of virtual team assembly in 2019.
