Field of Expertise

Our company, 3i Solutions, has been around since 1997, and we encapsulate and emulsify lipid-soluble actives for incorporation in to water-based systems. We operate mostly in the human nutraceutical market, but we also have customers focused in animal nutrition. Additionally, our encapsulation technology has applications in the food and beverage industry and can significantly enhance a product's health benefits and functionality.

Expertise

At 3i Solutions, our expertise is centered around our proprietary ingredient technologies, which are  encapsulations/emulsifications of lipid-soluble actives for incorporation in to water-based systems. Our technology is broken into three different platforms, VitaSperse, VitaDry, and VitaSperse-G, each of which has different benefits and applications. VitaSperse is our legacy encapsulation technology, and it is an aqueous -based system, composed of 50-75% water. VitaSperse is most applicable in liquid supplements and beverages. VitaDry is our dry-powder format, and applications for this encapsulation technology include, foods, stick packs, bulk tub powders, 2-piece capsules, and tablets. Finally, our newest technology is VitaSperse-G. It is created by replacing all of the water in VitaSperse with glycerin, which drops the water activity to a point where acidification and preservation are not needed. VitaSperse-G is our "clean label" technology format and is most applicable in liquid supplement, beverages, spoonable dosages, softgels, and gummies.

It is the quality of ingredients and our formulation expertise that truly set us us apart from competitors in the market. Along with comprehensive research and published studies, proving the efficacy and benefits of our technology, our ingredients are non-GMO, Kosher, and Halal-certified and products in a GMP and NSF-certified facility. 3i Solutions' proprietary technology delivers  ingredients that stay suspended in water-based systems with clinically-proven bioavailability improvement compared to traditional forms.
