As Head of Surplus/Waste Food Procurement at Connect Aid CIC, I oversee the sourcing of surplus and waste food for our food bank community fridges, and discount surplus fundraising stores. Additionally, I am proud to be involved with Diversity for Dinner, a monthly cultural food event that provides free hot meals and a welcoming space for people with the political status of asylum seeker and refugee to connect and socialize. This initiative is going nationwide, and we are always looking for caterers and food providers who share our passion for diversity and inclusion to collaborate with us.
