I have worked in technical leadership roles and with clients across a diverse range of industries (Finance, Marketing, Media, Entertainment, TV, Hospitality, Travel, Health, Medical, Engineering, Construction, Transport, Education) and sizes (start-up, SME and Blue Chip). I have a commercial and entrepreneurial edge and have founded several successful start-up businesses. I have a solid understanding of intellectual property (IP), legal and business processes which shape my everyday business decisions and risk analysis. My background is deeply rooted in science/scientific process and my current interests follow Computer Vision, AI, Industrial IoT applications, Industry 4.0/Factory 4.0 style processes and other aspects of system and process automation, facilitation and augmentation which add value, lower TCO, improve productivity and boost green credentials. Hard skills wise, I am a trusted cloud technologies expert, platform architect, a software developer, and have been practicing secure DevOps for over 20 years. During this time I have personally created a wide variety of websites, mobile apps, web applications, SaaS solutions, API’s and other integrations and desktop software products. I am always on the look-out for new opportunities, new, unusal or risky digital projects and ways my diverse skill set might be used to faciliate technical projects as an advisor, implimentor or supporter.
