Challenge

United Living are seeking innovative solutions to measure complex real-world progress of on-site delivery against pre-determined forecasted plans.

Multiple activities are planned as part of a project which has contractual timeframes associated with it. The progress of a project is then ‘measured’ against this. Measurement of progress is done by on site staff- this can lead to inconsistent forecasting of project competition. Which can in turn lead to of risk of delay and inaccurate commercial reporting. United Living is therefore seeking a tool that can measure these complex progress on site.

Must Haves:

  • Clean UI for non-technical users
  • Adaptable to a wide range of work types (e.g decoration, roofing, window installation, excavation, and reinstatement etc)
  • Interpolation of data into existing progress reporting
  • Works within challenging environments (e.g. high winds, low light)
  • Privacy considerations when working within private properties

Nice to Haves:

  • Low implementation cost
  • Compatible with existing programming and delivery tools
  • Adaptable and agile
  • Potential AI, AR and camera vision use cases
  • Asset data collection

Solutions ideally will be at prototype stage or further developed.
