Summary

Background

United Living Property Services revitalise homes and communities through the regeneration of living spaces, delivering large programmes of work for social housing providers, ensuring the highest building safety standards, as well as a range of services for public sector clients. United Living are specialists in net zero retrofit, working closely with clients to lower the carbon footprint of their buildings and in turn, minimise operational costs. This includes using more thermally efficient building products, and energy efficient technology to deliver cost-efficient, carbon-reducing solutions.

Whilst working within occupied properties, United Living need to ensure there is minimal disruption to residents and communities. Ensuring there is collaboration with community and social value specialists to deliver long lasting benefits for all.

Project works are often challenging and difficult to navigate for residents/ customers and the installers serving them, with multiple appointments, compliance paperwork and detail to hand over.

Challenge

United Living are seeking innovative solutions or expertise in app development. The app will serve as a simplified means to guide residents on their retrofit/ refurb or planned works journey, allowing the resident to feel in control while enabling key stakeholders to effectively communicate and guide.

The app will serve as a centralised place to execute appointment booking/ rescheduling, ask questions, store paperwork and more.

Solution must haves:

  • Notification function
  • Calendar integration
  • Document upload from app owner side
  • Q&A function- AI? Email?
  • Link through to client website
  • Re-brand capabilities
  • Booking process
  • Process guidance and timeline

Nice to haves:

  • Direct correspondence with the installer
  • Carbon accounting- solar savings, gamification- point collecting, tracking of savings ect.
  • Log a complaint function- or signposting to the correct place
  • Ability to upload a photo of complaint
