Challenge

Coca-Cola HBC is looking for a digital, automated water leak detection system for its beverage bottling plants.

The system will collect information about water flows, analyse water flow patterns and provide assessment of potential water leakages and/or more intense water use, based on AI machine learning and remote technical support.

Ideal solutions would have the following characteristics:

  • Collect digital data from flowmeters in the bottling plants
  • Perform statistical analyses on the water flow, such as water balance, water efficiency indicators per process or per area in the plant
  • Provide visualization and customized reports
  • Define water consumption reference value for each monitoring point, either as fixed value or variable depending on the nature of the process
  • Provide machine learning based on the accumulated data from each monitoring point
  • Create water consumption patterns for each monitoring point
  • Provide evaluation of potential water savings, based on the difference between real water use and benchmark/consumption pattern
  • Provide alarms for each identified water leakage

What's in it for you?

Developing a solution that would have the possibility to be used potentially in other industries and several markets across the world.
