Challenge
CBRE is looking for a multi-functional janitorial robot that can:
- Clean under desks, even if chairs are in the way – gasp!
- Move to another floor on its own – no humans required.
- Do more than just clean floors – bring some multi-functional purpose ideas! For example, it could: Disinfect surfaces, Empty trash bins, Restock supplies.
- Clean large floor areas efficiently.
- Navigate changing landscapes smartly with in-built AI.
- Reporting – clear and logical
- Take itself for a wellness/charging break and let you know where it has gone 😊.
Whilst a solution does not have to cover all 7 points, CBRE are seeking as many of them to be covered as possible.
CBRE is looking for disruptive, innovative ideas in the industry that will help with productivity, sustainability, driving costs down, and quality up. Yes, it's a difficult ask, but our clients want it all, and therefore so do we.
CBRE is particularly interested in solutions that are ready for the market, but all stages of development will be considered.
What's in it for you?
A successful collaboration could mean, for individuals, becoming part of the wider CBRE group. For organizations, it could mean forming a contractual relationship or joint venture to co-develop and launch the idea to market.
This is an Asia Pacific challenge. CBRE will conduct an internal review of all applications once the challenge has closed. Successful applicants will be contacted post-review.
