Challenge

CBRE are seeking innovative systems/programs for suppliers management that will. enable better tracking, evaluation, and reporting on supplier performance across various parameters. This system should integrate data from multiple sources to assess suppliers' compliance, performance, and risk, and produce a balanced reporting for efficient management.

Key requirements for the solution:

Data Integration: The system should aggregate and analyse data from diverse sources, including:

  • Contract management systems (to track service level agreements and key performance indicators)
  • Work order systems to track complaints or service issues
  • Survey tools for gathering supplier feedback
  • Financial systems for monitoring invoicing accuracy, payment timeliness, and pricing consistency
  • Health and safety records to assess incident rates (e.g., accidents, compliance with safety standards)

Supplier Performance Dashboard: The solution should provide a real-time, easy-to-understand dashboard displaying supplier performance across multiple dimensions, including quality of service, financial management and safety compliance.

Risk Assessment: The tool should help assess the risk level of each supplier based on compliance, incident history, and other factors. It should allow users to identify potential issues proactively, rather than reactively.

Customisation & Flexibility: The system should allow for easy customization of KPIs, integration with existing data sources, and flexibility in how performance data is visualized and reported.

Supplier Feedback & Balance: The platform should encourage balanced feedback collection—capturing both positive and negative supplier performance data to create a fair and comprehensive view.

Data Gaps: Some relevant data may be missing or incomplete (e.g., missing KPIs in contracts or outdated survey tools). The system should identify gaps and help address them over time.

Integration & Automation: The solution should automate data extraction, analysis, and reporting to reduce manual effort and improve scalability across a large supplier base.

CBRE are seeking a broad range of solutions at any stage of development.
