Challenge
CBRE are looking for cutting-edge strategies and technologies to improve food waste and strengthen their loss prevention efforts.
The company is calling on forward-thinking individuals, startups, and organisations to propose cutting-edge solutions that tackle food waste at every stage—from prevention to recovery. This includes:
- Optimising food supply chains
- Reducing spoilage
- Improving inventory management
- Leveraging smart sensors
- IoT for real-time monitoring
- Developing sustainable recycling or repurposing processes for unavoidable waste.
In addition to addressing food waste, CBRE is also committed to strengthening loss prevention measures across its portfolio. Proposals that incorporate data analytics, AI-driven insights, automated reporting tools, or innovative training programs to minimize waste and enhance security are particularly welcome.
This challenge is an exciting opportunity to influence sustainability efforts at scale, helping CBRE and its clients achieve environmental goals, reduce costs, and create a more sustainable future.
What's in it for you?
A successful collaboration could mean, for individuals, becoming part of the wider CBRE group. For organizations, it could mean forming a contractual relationship or joint venture to co-develop and launch the idea to market.
This is an Asia Pacific challenge. CBRE will conduct an internal review of all applications once the challenge has closed. Successful applicants will be contacted post-review.
