Challenge

CBRE is seeking innovative hard technology solutions to enhance energy efficiency in buildings. We are particularly interested in physical products that can be integrated into existing infrastructure to reduce on-site energy usage and/or GHG emissions.

We are particularly interested in:

  • Advanced heating and cooling systems (e.g. heat pumps, geo-thermal technologies, liquid cooling technologies for data centers, etc.).
  • On-site energy generation technologies.
  • Passive energy-saving technologies (e.g. next generation insulation products, hyper-cool roof materials, ultra-high-performance windows, etc).
  • Technologies powered by alternative fuels that can significantly reduce reliance on fossil fuels.
  • On-site carbon capture technologies.

While software solutions are less of a focus, we are also open to new technologies that use machine learning or other software strategies to optimize the efficiency of mechanical and electrical systems in buildings.

What's in it for you?

This challenge is an opportunity to bring cutting-edge innovation to our clients’ buildings and explore investment opportunities in start-ups that can commercialise these technologies.
