Challenge

Facilities management (FM) is the process of managing and maintaining the physical assets of an organization, such as buildings, equipment, and infrastructure. FM is essential for ensuring the safety, comfort, productivity and value for money of the occupants and users of the facilities. How can FM professionals use social media to raise awareness, generate interest, and attract leads for their services and products?

The goal of this project is to find creative and effective ways to leverage social media platforms to promote FM and its benefits. The solutions should address the following questions:

  • What are the best social media channels and formats to reach and engage the target audience for FM?
  • What are the key messages and value propositions that FM can communicate through social media?
  • How can FM use social media to showcase its expertise, credibility, and professionalism?
  • How can FM use social media to build relationships, trust, and loyalty with existing and potential customers?
  • How can FM use social media to generate leads and convert them into sales opportunities?

The solutions should be original, feasible, and scalable. They should also consider the challenges and limitations of using social media for FM, such as the need for compliance, privacy, and security. The solutions should be presented in a clear and concise manner, with examples and evidence to support the claims.

CBRE is looking for disruptive, innovative ideas in the industry that will help us with win, keep and grow our client base.

CBRE is particularly interested in solutions that are ready for the market, but all stages of development will be considered.

What's in it for you?

A successful collaboration could mean, for individuals, becoming part of the wider CBRE group. For organizations, it could mean forming a contractual relationship or joint venture to co-develop and launch the idea to market.

This is an Asia Pacific challenge. CBRE will conduct an internal review of all applications once the challenge has closed. Successful applicants will be contacted post-review.
