Perform 3-phase separation of high BS&W content. Pump out clean, pipeline-spec crude oil (at/below 0.05% BS&W). Off-gas is recycled for green energy applications.
About
The media is crude. Cleaning methods should not be. The L-POD® system is fully automated, self-managed, and self-contained. Utilizing the patented apparatus and methodology, the L-POD® performs three-phase separation on incoming off-spec crude oil with high BS&W content. Cleaned, pipeline-spec crude oil (at/below 0.05% BS&W) is pumped out of the unit. Water and sediments are removed from the oil stream and the unit. The process off-gas is recycled for multiple green energy applications which Red Stag Energy, LLC can deploy. The largest L-POD® system can be skid-mounted or mounted on a 53-foot trailer which enables it to easily be transported to a preferred location. It processes up to 10,400 barrels per day; actual capacity is tied to API oil gravity, water gravity, and contaminant levels. The L-POD® technology can be built in various sizes to process only hundreds of barrels per day up to the 10,400 BPD capacity of the largest unit. L-PODs® are available for leasing or purchasing. Each unit is commissioned and operator training is provided. Red Stag Energy, LLC also provides solutions to eliminate gas flaring while recouping energy and/or generating income, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and establish microgrid electrical power stations.
Key Benefits
The L-POD® processes a larger volume of crude oil in a much smaller package than traditional horizontal heater treaters (separators) and vertical separators, and it operates at a far greater efficiency. Return on investment is extremely short which makes the L-POD® a superior source of profitability. Our current technology and market focus are both driven by green energy. The goal is to recycle and reuse as much of the process from start to finish as possible to avoid wasted resources and profit loss from unused viable streams/sources.
Applications
The L-POD® system has onshore and offshore applications. Examples of deployment are below. - Active well locations with or without on-site tank batteries - Ports where stored or off-loaded, transported crude oil must be processed before pipeline transport - Water/Glycol separation - Replacement of existing horizontal and/or vertical separators Our other green technology solutions are ready for sites where excess gas is not being utilized properly. Also, we can locate equipment to generate revenue at any location which has readily available gas and at least 1/8 of an acre of free space.
