Our patented, modular solar heating system uses a continuous flexible pipe to create systems with no interconnections. It can freeze and overheat without damage, doesn’t use antifreeze and allows decarbonisation of space, water and process heating. Traditional solar heating systems, using antifreeze, are designed so as not to overheat as the antifreeze degrades. They are designed for the sunniest day of the year and so are undersized for cloudy days and the cooler months. In contrast, because we use water which doesn’t degrade if it overheats, we can have huge systems but with normal sized heat storage, increasing the yield dramatically.

Our system provides free, no carbon heat and can integrate with existing heating systems. Traditional systems that use antifreeze are designed so that they don't overheat on the sunniest day of the year as the antifreeze degrades. This means that they are undersized for the cooler months and for cloudy days. We don't use antifreeze as our system can freeze without damage and we use demineralised water as the heat transfer fluid. This means we can have very large systems that can harvest the suns free energy even on cloudy days but are allowed to "overheat" on the sunniest days as water doesn't degrade, it just turns to steam and then back to water.,
