Dr Al Qubeissi is experienced in computational thermo-fluid systems. His main relevant research experience includes the development of mathematical models for processes preceding/exceeding the onset of combustion (atomization, sprays, heating, evaporation and ignition of multi-component and blended fuels) and other broad range of engineering applications (e.g. IC engines, PV/T systems, Battery thermal management, Thermal fatigue, Gas-turbine engines). His research efforts have been disseminated via more than 110 research outputs in internationally refereed journal articles, conference proceedings and monographs. Since starting his career at CU in 2015, Dr Al Qubeissi has been involved in project supervision of more than 100 UG/PG students, and 6 PhD/DSc projects. Prior to that, he was a Lecturer in Engineering at the University of Brighton, UK, and a research participant in the INTERREG E3C3 project (€3.5 million).
