By 2025 the (IMO) International Marine Organisation states that no fossil fuel ships will be built, opening the door to a better cleaner alternative to power generation. Our product the Grafmarine NanoDeck will be the first of its kind in providing renewable energy with fully generational recycled materials. Annually, more than 640,000 tonnes of nets, lines, pots, and traps used in commercial fishing are dumped and discarded in the sea, according to the UN. We have identified a technology to work towards re-using nets fibres in our next evolution of advanced materials. By embracing the circular economy and recycling and second life re-purposing our products we can remove the NanoDeck tiles decks from any end-of-life vessel and re-purpose them to second life projects, in poorer communities ensuring Grafmarine will not be the ocean polluters of the future…
