Giane Brocco is the Founder & CEO of Amazu Biomimicry (Biomimicry & Conscious-Innovation Consultancy). She is also the Founder of Biomimicry Brasil (representative network of Biomimicry 3.8 (USA) and Biomimicry Institute (USA), in Brazil) and Co-founder at Asha - The Eco Based Company. She is a pioneer in developing biomimicry in the country and was one of the 100 first people certified as a Biomimicry Specialist in the world. She combines engineering with her passion for nature to promote innovation, creativity and leadership from Biomimicry. She holds a Master's degree in Production & Systems Engineering, is a certified Biomimicry Specialist by Biomimicry 3.8 (USA), and is graduated in Production & Mechanical Engineering. In addition, she studied Leadership for Transition at Schumacher College (London and Brazil) and Bio-Leadership at Amani Institute. She teaches in workshops, trainings, courses and lectures in Brazil and worldwide, at events such as TEDx Mauá, TEDx PassoFundo, Path Festival, Biomimicry Summit, Globo News Prisma and Friends Of Tomorrow, among others. She also works as an invited professor in MBA and Postgraduate courses at several Universities such as FAAP, Unisinos and Feevale. With companies, among the projects developed in the area of Biomimicry, there is a new sustainable process of cold injection with UV light, Industrial Environmental Indicators based on Sequoias and a sensory labyrinth based on the super senses of animals. She is a Board Member for the FIERGS (CONLIDER) and FIESP (CEJ) committees. She has been working in the field of Biomimicry and innovation for over 8 years and is the one responsible for leading and inspiring Amazu business.
