Co-founder of Binding Sciences Limited, an SME developing novel continence management products. The company came about from involvement in the Royal Academy of Engineering's Leaders In Innovation Fellowship Programme and from seeing at first-hand the devastating impact that incontinence had on my mother's health and well-being, and that of my father, her primary carer, in her final months. I have 20+ years' experience helping UK and overseas businesses commercialise products and services, primarily in the life sciences and environmental/sustainability sectors and of chairing and sitting on grant funding panels for both the Natural Environment Research Council and the Biotechnology & Biological Sciences Research Council.
