Haroon is an Academic Foundation Doctor in Leadership at the Royal Bolton Hospital. He graduated from the University of Birmingham having completed a Management BSc at Imperial College London. During this period, he spent time investigating the facilitators and barriers of entrepreneurship within the NHS and providing recommendations for specific innovation programmes. He is the Co-Founder and CEO of EczemaDoc, an app designed to empower eczema patients to self-manage their condition. This work has been recognised through his appointment as one of the countries youngest NHS Clinical Entrepreneurs. Haroon has gained industry experience through work as a consultant for a venture backed healthcare company. He has also held roles within the European Institute of Technology and Innovation as a regional lead and been awarded a scholarship with the Healthcare Leadership Academy. With a passion for disease prevention and digital health, he hopes to empower individuals to enable effective patient self-care.
