Expertise

The passion for design and architecture for me started over 20 years ago with a desire to learn more about the city I lived in and how it worked. This passion gave rise to opportunities in many different types of firms, including one that I started. Among the various firms, I have expanded my design knowledge to be able to search for beautiful design solutions, environmental transparency, and the confidence to solve unique problems. I pursue this profession with a purpose supported by an expertise in design and love for sustainability. I am an enthusiastic and accomplished architect with many years of progressive design experience and comprehensive expertise in LEED, the Living Building Challenge, consulting, biomimicry principals in design, sustainable design, architectural design, problem-solving, and various computer technologies for the architecture profession. My design experiences include the Dali Museum, King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, USF Interdisciplinary Science building, Sports Oriented Development plan for the City of St. Petersburg and the St. Petersburg College Green Living Demonstration Center. Most recently I have started a company for the development of sustainable tiny houses, a for profit company called the Center for Biomimetic Architectural Research (BAR for short) and the beginning phases of an AI platform to develop better buildings, called Phyllum.
