I am a lecturer in energy analysis techniques, renewable energy (primarily biofuels) and risk management. I research in energy efficiency, renewable energy, and bioenergy notably solar PV and solar thermal. I supervise and run research projects in conventional energy, technology roadmapping, systems thinking, just transition, hydrogen economy, nuclear and coal generation, air and plastic pollution, and climate change. I am an electromechanical designer, specialised in systems integration, with a PhD in mechatronics and a Chartered Engineer with the institute of measurement and control.
