Field of Expertise
I am a Senior Lecturer and researcher specialising in human-centred innovation, ergonomics, and occupational health and safety. My work integrates advanced digital technologies—including AI-enabled safety intelligence, digital twins, and predictive modelling—to reduce workplace injuries, enhance productivity, and improve system design. I focus on high-risk industries such as construction, horticulture, and healthcare, developing solutions that are both evidence-based and commercially viable.
I have led and collaborated on projects funded by SafeWork NSW, Agriculture Victoria, and ITW Construction Asia Pacific, co-designing scalable interventions with industry, government, and community partners. My research translates into real-world impact through automated compliance verification systems, ergonomic risk reduction strategies, and technology-enabled workplace transformation. I am committed to bridging research and practice, shaping safer, healthier, and more efficient work environments.

Transforming Workplace Safety & Productivity through Human-Centred Research, Advanced Technologies, and Industry Collaboration
I am a Senior Lecturer and researcher with a strong track record of leading nationally and internationally recognised research that delivers real-world impact.
My work focuses on advancing human-centred innovation through projects in AI-enabled safety intelligence, predictive modelling for musculoskeletal disorders, and digital twin technology for hazard detection and system optimisation. I lead multidisciplinary research teams, collaborate extensively with industry and government partners, and publish in high-quality outlets that shape practice and policy.
I have successfully managed complex research programs, driving them from concept to implementation, while securing competitive funding and ensuring compliance with quality and reporting standards. My collaborations span construction, agriculture, and healthcare, delivering outcomes that improve safety, productivity, and worker well-being.
While my primary focus is research, I also bring this expertise into the classroom, integrating cutting-edge findings into student learning and mentoring the next generation of researchers.
