Detection of varroa vibrations
We propose to estimate a honeybee colony varroa infestation levels by monitoring the vibrations that fallen mites generate when they walk on the hive's "bottom board".

I have 20 years of experience in running research in MRI, in particular in the design of contrast agents allowing the imaging of the tissue pressure. I have 15 years of experience in condition monitoring of honeybee colonies with accelerometers, in experiments where I have designed the full chain of acquisition and the signal processing. I have also published in human gait analysis, bioacoustics, sports science and MRI of fluid flow in rock specimen.
