We are active in 4 main market segments - (1) Culture Museums, entertainment & sports venues (2) Healthcare - Health centres and hospitals (3) Smart Spaces - Cities, offices, retail outlets, universities (4) Transport - Airports, airlines, railway stations. For Star Alliance we have mapped Heathrow Terminal 2, Frankfurt & Munich airports and activated innovative functionality to direct passengers with connecting flights from their arrival gate to their departure gate, provide express security passes, allow the gate agent to track their progress and gather analytics over time. Users can see their gate ETA, distance to go and gate closing time to reduce anxiety. Other examples include Canary Wharf where we wayfind users to their selected outlet and integrate with travel timetables for the DLR & Elizabeth Line stations and The Met Museum, NY where we offer step free alternative routes via an accessibility icon. Our wider experience (beyond airports) means that we can include the outdoor element surrounding the terminal areas i.e. covering the means by which passengers access the airport by train, car, bus, car parks etc etc. Our maps may be overlayed with layers of points of interest (with rich text descriptions, data & photos), routes, position and features defined by the map owner - these levels are curated into digestible user outputs depending upon the user view selected so as to maximise utility. With 70% of PRM passengers preferring to self-navigate – our goal would be to enable them to (1) Self-navigate within airport terminals via accessible step-free routes (2) Request assistance when needed based on the user’s current location (3) Share current location with support staff and (4) Enable real-time two-way chat between the user and support staff through improved legibility through the above combined with alternative map colours and text sizing
