Internal Combustion Engines - Reducing Emissions and Fuel Consumption, Climate Manufacturer

Expertise

Unique Retrofit system - Catalytic Fuel Reformer & Emissions Reducer (CFR-ER) - fits to the exhaust manifold of an internal combustion engine, reducing emissions and fuel use, is self regulating & does not require the use of additives, electronics or computers. Savings in fuel directly reduce CO2 emissions. Findings of the World Health Organisation suggest ambient air pollution kills an estimated 7m people worldwide and around 91% of the global population breathe polluted air that exceeds WHO guidelines. Emissions of Methane and CO2 are a major driver of global warming and climate change. There are some 1.25 billion ICEs worldwide with hundreds of millions still in use in developing countries, all without any form of exhaust after treatment. In developed countries there is a significant problem with Euro 5 and early Euro 6 diesel powered vehicles not being suitable for Ultra Low Emission Zones. The ICE Sectors our technology could be used in - passenger transport, LDV & HDV, buses, agri-sector, generators, construction, inland waterways transport (canal boats), marine transport (small boats), aviation (light aircraft), three wheelers and two wheelers. Developing Countries The CFR-ER has been proven to work on older designed engines which are still being manufactured in huge numbers today, all without any exhaust after treatment technology fitted. There are currently hundreds of millions of engines in use in developing countries that could benefit from being fitted with a CFR-ER system not only to reduce levels of emissions but to also save fuel providing a much needed income stream (in savings) to individuals and companies in the developing world. To the best of our knowledge there is no other technology available that can provide the same amount of benefits a CFR-ER system can. For example there are currently over 6 million tractors in use in India, all without any exhaust after treatment and savings in fuel would greatly assist in supplementing a farmers income not to mention better air quality. Developed Countries and Developing Countries The operation of an internal combustion engine has basically remained the same for well over 100 years. As the CFR-ER system is designed to operate on the products of combustion the Directors believe the CFR-ER system has potential to improve the performance of Euro 5 / early Euro 6 compliant vehicles, this would require further development work to be undertaken to prove this premise and the directors have a clear plan to undertake this work. To take matters further there is also the potential for the CFR-ER system design to be incorporated into the design of new ICEs, once the concept behind the operation of the CFR-ER system is accepted by OEMs
