Shailendra Tomar is the CEO and founder of Preflet, a plug & play Energy AI platform that provides attainable actions to improve buildings’ energy efficiency. He built Preflet to help building owners & facilities managers to decrease energy consumption, save money and reduce carbon footprint of buildings. Over a decade of working at Fortune 500 companies such as Accenture and Volkswagen AG, Shailendra realized the potential of AI technology to address global challenges. During this time, he delivered projects in data and AI across Europe, Asia and Latin America. Combining his previous professional experiences with the wish to contribute to a more sustainable world, Shailendra created Preflet to tackle the energy crisis in one of the sectors that contributes the most for global carbon emissions. Shailendra holds an MSc in statistics and information management from Universidade Nova de Lisboa.
