VIKI the personal assistant that utilises artificial intelligence and the internet of things from our Cortex platform, to make business travel far more efficient. It uses artificial intelligence to monitor your calendar schedule a booking on your behalf based around your meetings. The internet of things will work in the airport self-service kiosks, fast tracking and reducing wait times and limiting the interaction as the assistant VIKI is capable of getting the traveller from home to meeting and back without the traveller needing to provide instructions, like any good assistant should. How VIKI works; Traveller downloads the VIKI app and logins in with pre-existing Virgin Atlantic details or can sign up. They are then asked a series of questions such as; what seat do you prefer in a plane, if you are a smoker and hotel budget. VIKI will prompt for calendar, contact and email access for the travel arrangements and constantly monitor - Calendar to know the dates of travel needs - Contacts to choose the best emergency contact i.e. wife and booking purposes - Email for booking purposes and meeting purposes - Card Details for booking - Passport information Traveller puts in their calendar his meeting date and location of meeting and times. VIKI will receive calendar info and will then find appropriate airline tickets, best hotels in the area of meeting and pre-book travel arrangements to and from the airport then prompt you when done and add the info to your calendar. During this time VIKI will contact and make hotel reservations. Pre-check-in for your flight and choose appropriate sets based on your preference when available. On the day of travel, VIKI will alert you when it’s time to get ready and notify you your driver is on the way and show you your boarding pass. And prompt you will a reminder list for documents and security. Once in your car VIKI will show your itinerary for the duration of travel. She will also ask what food/beverages you would you like to pre-book for the airport lounge and for your flight. On arrival at the airport. VIKI will send your information to the available self-service kiosk and baggage drop, tell you where its located and guide you there. Traveller arrives at the kiosk, it welcomes you by name, it will confirm your travel arrangements, prompt you to scan the passport, traveller weighs bag, attached the RFID baggage tag (for tracking their luggage for both VIKI and airline) then direct you to Security and lounge. VIKI and Kiosk communication – On traveller’s arrival at kiosk the kiosk will emit and ultrasound which is pick up by the traveller’s device in turn VIKI send your travel information to the kiosk You will then be shown directions security and lounge. While in the lounge sit back and enjoy, as you there is no need to wait for announcements, VIKI will prompt you when your gate is ready and when you need to start boarding. She will also direct you to your gate so no need to look for signs. Traveller arrives at the gate kiosk will prompt you to recheck your passport. VIKI and the kiosk – Kiosk emits ultrasound which prompts VIKI to send board information to Kiosk. VIKI will then direct you to your seat, and show you the entertainment and you can request food, or assistance. Upon arrival VIKI will direct you to baggage area and show you when your baggage approaches for you to collect. VIKI will guide you to security and then guide you to your driver who is waiting for you. In the car to destination, VIKI will show your hotel information, and show you of restaurants and Itinerary for meeting and show you any documents that are required to before meeting. Once check in VIKI can become your room KEY and room service for the room and get anything you need.
