Tailored Talks uses digital questionnaires, symptom tracking and call-back functionality, to empowers clinicians to deliver simple personalised medical information to patients.
About
How it works? Healthcare professionals can access a library of over 4,000 NHS-approved slides to create bespoke presentations tailored to each patient’s needs. Use our intuitive slide builder to design custom multi-media presentations that cover medical symptoms, lifestyle advice, and mental health support.
Tailored Talks Patient Portal: We know that healthcare teams can be time poor, which is why we have created the portal for patients, available online. This allows onboarded patients to be automatically sent information based on their needs, without any input from clinicians. Patients answer a self-assessment questionnaire which triggers tailored information to be sent to them, and gives them the option to receive further support through our Advice Line partners, using our call-back functionality. This feature also allows patients and their clinicians to track symptoms over time.
Who's using it? Tailored Talks is currently in use across Scotland to support stroke care, neurological conditions, and elderly and frail care within the NHS and has also been used by Primary Care Pharmacists in Edinburgh to counsel patients about the risk of stroke associated with atrial fibrillation and the balance of risks and benefits of starting anticoagulants. The Tailored Talks patient portal is currently supporting people living with Long Covid and recovering from stroke in NHS Lothian.
