Through fishing communities and rural coastal communities we operate partnerships through providing technology to cultivate and process seaweed. Our systems turn fishers into ocean farmers and our nearshore microprocessing system increases the volume and value of the seaweed. This early stage processing has evidenced high numbers of bioactives and micronutrients that would have previously been lost and capturing the valued mineral-rich moisture from ocean plants. Using our systems we are able to supply multiple sectors with key compounds and through replication and a shared value chain, we are rapidly reaching scale.

Applications
Beyond our partners in the fishing communities and rural coastal communities, the markets for our seaweed compounds will range from food, feed and fertilisers to the pharmaceutical, cosmeceutical and nutraceutical markets at the higher end of the value chain. Through to the biopolymers and biofabrics at the lower end of the value chain. The producers of products would receive our outputs in validated form either as dried matter or in liquid form, depending on the method of application and the functionality that the ingredient needs to deliver.
