Optimises indoor farming, vertical agriculture, and hydroponic systems with a powerful AI-driven platform designed to enhance yield, resource efficiency, and energy management
About
SOLVER-AI is an innovative AI-driven platform co-founded by Dr Paolo Fantini and David Carmalt, blending over 50 years' experience across aeronautical engineering, academia, AI and financial services.
Our MVP seeks to solve complex challenges across industries like agriculture, utilities, and the built environment, by leveraging machine learning, predictive analytics, and real-time optimisation to enhance efficiency, sustainability, and profitability.
Since "breaking cover" in August 2024, SOLVER-AI has won a place on AI Forge’s Cohort 4 incubator, become part of NVIDIA’s Inception Program, achieved advanced assurance from HMRC in regards to SEIS and EIS equity financing, and begun InnovateUK grant-funded collaborations with a number of UK universities.
Key Benefits
SOLVER-AI’s Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) offering empowers growers to optimise indoor farming, vertical agriculture, and hydroponic systems with a powerful AI-driven platform. Designed to enhance yield, resource efficiency, and energy management, it seeks to integrate seamlessly with existing setups - leveraging real-time data from sensors, IoT devices, and climate controls to deliver actionable insights, and ultimately autonomous control.
SOLVER-AI seeks to predict pest and disease risks, fine-tune water and nutrient delivery, and reduce energy consumption by analysing myriad variables
SOLVER-AI is currently working with a number of UK universities and the Greenhouse Innovation Consortium, and is keen to engage beyond the UK with projects which seek collaboration in "real world" environments as we seek to commercialise the platform's offering.
