By now, we should have waken up and understand the importance of HYGIENE, all around the world. We now should at least know some if not all the types of disinfectants and cleaners in the market already. However, there is one common problem when we are talking about disinfection/disinfectants currently we have in the market that is, they are all not long lasting. Even the strongest and most commonly used material which is alcohol, its effective period is only 2 to 3 minutes. Meaning, if we would like to keep a place less germs all the time, it is very impossible. Hence the birth of SmartCoat. SmartCoat was developed in 2011 to enhance the formulation of the existing technology which was invented in the 1930s in Japan. Prior to SmartCoat, this technology must be activated UV light and there for the birth of SmartCoat is to eliminate this problem. Our scientist managed to reprogram the formulation to bring the technology into indoors so that even artificial light or any light source can activate its photocatalyst process. SmartCoat, once applied by our Electrostatic Spraying System, surfaces will be enhanced with the ability to self-disinfect for up to 1 year. Apart from its antimicrobial property, SmartCoated environment also can self-deodorize too. This technology is not only made in Malaysia and available here, but it is also tested, approved and widely used in 18 other countries in parts of Europe and most of the Asian countries too. It is also an award winner in numerous international science events and some green and sustainability events too. SmartCoat has been widely applied in various industries such as Commercial Offices, Hotels, F&B outlets, Residential, Automotive, Government Offices, Sports Facilities, Early Education Centres, shopping malls and Grocers and we are now serving more than 600 retail brands in just Malaysia alone. In the overseas, our signature project is a Green Building call the City Plaza at Tai Ku Shing, Hong Kong where the whole 10 stories building is housing major governmental offices of the country.
