A platform technology (handheld or environment based) which identifies and detects VOC (volatile organic compound) fingerprints associated with diseases, pests and vectors.

About

Where artificial intelligence meets the genius of nature. Originating from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, we believe the future for pest and disease control lies in scent… and an insect’s antenna. At Arctech Innovation, we harness insect intelligence to better detect threats including pests, pathogens and diseases, and to protect the health of our future world, accross the agricultural, animal and human health sectors.

Our innovative platform identifies VOC signatures associated with plant, animal, human or pathogen target and, using AI, builds sensor arrays, powered by algorithms to detect those targets. We have proven proof of concept and have advanced prototypes of our affordable and scalable sensor detection devices for VOCs which can be easily adapted to multiple targets.

Key Benefits

Affordable, rapid, early-stage and real time detection of diseases, pests, etc with automated alerts to mobile phones/computers.

Handheld devices or network of environment-based sensors, creating a local, national, international surveillance system.

Generation of data with analytics to predict movement and likely outbreaks for rapid response and better prevention.

Applications

Agricultural sector - farming, greenhouses, nurseries, orchards, livestock, poultry, etc

Human health - point of care disease diagnostics, wearable personal health monitoring

Animal health - point of care disease diagnostics for pets, wearable devices for pet health monitoring
