About
We represent the 'goodBag' range that are various designs of shopping bags that are made of recycled plastic or organic cotton. Each goodBag comes with an imbedded NFC* chip. (*NFC = near-field communication). The NFC chips are able to be scanned when using the goodBag app on a smartphone. The goodBag app then records points and rewards for users who scan their goodBags each time they shop.
Key Benefits
By encouraging consumers to scan their goodBag when they shop, they are encouraged to use their goodBags each time they shop, thus reducing their reliance on using single-use plastic bags instore. We also have versions of our goodBags that are designed with longer carry handles so they can be placed over both shoulders, like a satchel bag. The advantage of this design is to support instore smartphone scanning of products so they are immediately recorded in a consumer's phone wallet (or app equivalent). This enables both hands to be free, with one picking up the items and the other with the phone to scan them. We have partners who can supply the instore smartphone shopping solutions, albeit fully expecting the LEO client to be all over these providers.
Applications
Having a goodBag greatly reduces consumers' use of single-use plastic bags which is a major benefit to the environment. Rewarding consumers to use a goodBag instore builds customer loyalty, and enhances the store brand as being net zero focussed.
