EBD has been certified by the Ministry of Science and Innovation of Spain as well as by the Spanish National Center for Scientific Research (CSIC) in 2023. Florida International University (FIU) has also confirmed that EBD Systems are safe to use and in August 2024 EBD was approved for use in septic tanks in the state of Wisconsin, USA. In addition, the Northeast Wisconsin Technical College (NWTC) - Dairy Science Department has confirmed after carrying out 6 months of weekly methane gas sampling and testing inside a large dairy barn located in Marinette County, Wisconsin that the "EBD barn has on average 65% less methane compared to the identical Control barn in varied weather and ventilation conditions”. The EBD treated barn houses 1,500 milk cows and measures 14,957 m² (3.69 acres) - this is about the same size as two (2) soccer fields. Highly scalable, affordable and since it does not use any consumables - very sustainable.
