About
HerbYvore is Agrocorp’s downstream plant based brand that utilises pea protein from its midstream operations as raw ingredients to manufacture plant based food products. Compared to regular plant based cheeses in the market, which contain little or no protein, HerbY Cheese from HerbYvore contains 5 - 7g pea protein/100g cheese, making it a sustainably nutritious dairy alternative. HerbY-Cheese range comprises HerbY-Cheese Mozzarella, HerbY-Cheese Cheddar, and HerbY-Cheese Just Like Parme (our rendition of parmesan). HerbY-Cheese melts well and has a flavour profile quite close to dairy cheeses. Could have potential use in plant-based cheesy snacks that require melted cheese. Innovation point : Plant based, coconut oil based cheese range that melts well and contains a significant amount of pea protein.
