White Air Solutions have developed an air purification machine which is being used to extend the storage life of fresh produce, fruit and flowers. Our air purification machine can also be used in clean rooms, medical and pharmaceutical labs, doctors and hospital waiting rooms and many other various working environments as we look to help promote clean air and a healthy workforce. The technology we are using is called Photocatalytic Oxidation (PCO) which can be used in various storage and working environments, the technology is completely organic and the only bi-products produced are trace amounts of Co2 and H2o. Our PCO machines work by removing Ethylene and other VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) gases from the atmosphere as well as viruses, fungal and bacterial spores. Ethylene removal is extremely important in extending shelf life because it’s Ethylene which acts as a natural ripening (or “aging”) hormone, the release of Ethylene into a storage environment is what causes fresh produce, fruits, flowers and many other plants to deteriorate. By removing Ethylene, VOC gases, viruses, fungal and bacterial spores our machines will add benefits to various supply chains and working environments that will prolong storage life, promote a healthy atmosphere, reduce waste and also reduce the carbon footprint of your business.
