We are retail productivity experts providing workstudy measurement, Excel based labour models and workforce management consultancy. We bring productivity insight from our retail benchmark database on individual processes and overall store operation With a background in retail operations we go further than providing numbers and share actionable insight and practical how-to guidance –we’ve spent years working within retail operations and bring our extensive experience of working with customer facing businesses in Europe, North America and Asia too We’re different because we are retail operators to the core, even some of our specialist workstudy engineers had years of experience in retail management before joining ReThink. We don’t waste your time with jargon or unnecessary details and add value by spotting productivity opportunities from your data and our time instore. We are easy to work with, efficient and straight talking Innovation We recognised that the tools to create labour standards had not kept pace with innovation and it seemed wrong to us to apply old fashioned technology to study productivity. So we created our own workstudy data capture technology apps (ReTime) that are used in all our studies and by our workstudy engineer clients based in retailers including EE, Poundland and Well Pharmacy We continue to develop and innovate to make sure it is as easy as possible for workstudy engineers to capture accurate and consistent data; for example adding the ability to capture photos and write notes as they go to capture best practice examples and report back opportunities for improvement

For example: A specialty/fashion retailer had much longer Click & Collect pick up times compared to our ReThink benchmark and is moving parcel storage to be closer to the tills A fast fashion retailer thought their stock processes were time consuming yet were surprised how long the delivery unpacking and sortation process took per garment. They are using the numbers to consider upstream changes that will improve productivity in the store A study with Pandora helped the global franchise brand quantify the variability in their operation between franchise partners that was creating both under and over salary investment – and missed sales opportunities due to long queues in some stores Vodafone call us in every year to help them review their operation and time and changed processes. For example we’ve helped them assess the impact of new systems in stores and how best to leverage the introduction of queue management technology. We carry out annual efficiency studies so they can see how time is spent. From their first efficiency study they set out to spend less time on tasks and admin and more time with customers. Since the first study they’ve achieved a 40% increase in time with customers, reduced time spent on admin and eliminated non-essential down time from their stores. And they’re not done yet.
