Key Benefits
1) Best in class proven technology (e.g. used in producing potato starch and sugar)
2) Can be intergrated into your machine control
3) It would be possible to convert your potato waste water into a commercial usable product (potassium fertiliser).
Key benefits:
- Cost-optimized production through real-time measurement
- Maintenance-free and non-contact
- Superior measurement technology „Made in Germany”
- Multifrequency technology for dynamic plausibility control of the raw signal
- Easy installation on existing conveyor belts or measuring shafts
- Height and density compensation of non-homogeneous materials
Applications
Technology has been successfully used in many areas - "from the food industry to power plants to the pharmaceutical industry - the areas of application for our measuring systems are limitless."
Measurement principle: The microwave measurement system generates microwaves which interact with the water molecules due to the high dielectric constant. This interaction causes a decrease of the microwave energy, which can be detected as phase shift and attenuation. Since the phase shift and attenuation changes are directly proportional to the water content in the product, the concentration or dry content in the medium can be determined with high accuracy.
