About
Material Rescue was born from a need to take responsibility for materials that are put out into the world. There is currently a gap in the market for reuse of retail, hospitality and commercial interiors. There are many recycling, waste recovery, and reselling options available but these can be time consuming, labour intensive and focus on a specific type of material. Often material is recycled a long time before the end of its useful life because alternative solutions do not exist and reselling the items takes time and labour which may not always be available. Material Rescue recovers fit-out materials for refurb, resale or reuse. We take the legwork out of reuse by providing a comprehensive solution that covers all of the bases to help you reuse as much as possible from your interior.
Our service scales from individual select items, to complete interior rescues. With our network of storage and logistics, reuse pathways and talented craftspeople, we strip back to retain value for reuse or re-purposing, and supply reports with critical changes to improve future designs and refits as well as sustainability data that can be used to inform and guide your journey towards circularity.

Applications
Material Rescue, was primarily set up for the retail and hospitality industry as these areas in general have frequent retrofits during the building's lifetime, (roughly every 5-7 years) However, office and commercial spaces are also within the scope of Material Rescue as the processes are the same.
