Historically operating indoor pig and poultry facilities via targets and set points has offered limited ability to recognise what housed animals may actually desire for optimal performance and health at that exact moment, no 2 batches are the same, nor are any 2 days so targets and setpoints are inherently inaccurate.
By using simple water meter data from any water meter and tracking a specific production area over 3 days it is possible to predict the next 15 minutes water consumption via AI. If the drinking behaviour prediction isn't met either the animals behaviour has been suppressed or stimulated. Next we use AI to corelate via AI all other data sources available. By finding the things that have changed preceding the drinking behaviour change and based on the correlations, their severity and their relationships you can understand what is causing a change in drinking behaviour and from this deduce the corrective actions required, all via AI every 5 minutes 24/7.
This process generates a lot of insightful data and so the final piece is to feed the findings into AI large language models to smart summarise and turn data into a few sentences and eventually audio files. Simply tell me where the animals are challenged, what's causing it and at what time of day it occurs then I can quickly solve the issues.
The next steps for this technology is using machine learning to recognise exact patterns in the changes of drinking behaviour and corelation data and associate these with proven corrective actions, disease predictions, well being and welfare and other key insights.
