VITA interacts with the wired/wireless sensors worn by individual at the time of therapy and reacts based on the state of these sensors.
About
Summary Virtual Interactive Therapy Agents (VITA) are animated characters designed to interact with individuals while doing therapy to motivate them to achieve their therapy goals. Many kids go through therapy which require painful limb manipulation or repetitious body movements. While the role of therapy is very well documented for recovery, the means of providing it to kids often presents challenges because of limited attention span and less tolerance to pain. VITA are designed for therapy specific applications such as for applying force, arm movements, and gait pattern.
