A home compostable ban designed for bread and bakery product. For the first time a home compostable single layer material can provide bread 7-10 days shelf life. We managed to improve the barrier of our compostable bags to do this. The bags were tested by leading U.K. bakeries and shown to provide the shelf life. The bags also proved to work well on automatic bread packing machines
