A platform by which geotechnical information can be collected and analysed in real time to avoid, or prepare for, geotechnical risks in the operational environment.
About
Ramjack's geotechnical monitoring solution focusses on the ability to collect data in real time and near-real time in order to prevent to prepare for failure in the mine and associated facilities. Starting with geotechnical sensors, Ramjack can implement the correct combination for a mine site and deploy the best telemetry network to generate real time data acquisition. This is further enhanced through near-real time data form satellites, scanners and drones. The data is received at Ramjack' s remote operations centre (rROC) in Johannesburg where it can set up a number of alerts/reports/thresholds based on the specific KPIs of a mining company. Further to that, it enables mining companies with many mining assets (locally regionally, globally) to centrally control and monitor its risk in relation to the geotechnical environment. All in all this innovation provides the peace of mind to mining companies looking to manage their geotechnical risk. DETAILED PRESENTATION AVAILABLE ON REQUEST
Key Benefits
- Monitor geotechnical behaviour in real time - Utilise near real time technologies to enhance the data interpretation - Monitor 24/7 all aspects of the mining ecosystem that could be affected by geotechnical failure: Operational Areas, Tailings Dam Facilities, Dumps. - Use a central control room to analyse the data and make predictions - Focus resources on areas where mitigating work needs to be done - Early warnings and triggers to take preventative action saving assets and lives.
Applications
Mining - open pit and underground operations/production areas Tailings Dam Facilities - active and/or dormant. Dumps - active and/or dormant
