Most currently offered COFI (Crude Oil Flow Improvers) are only able to temporarily abate the inherent behavior of Crude Oils and Effluents in well bores, pipelines, and processing facilities. Flotexx irreversibly reduces the volume of long chain hydrocarbons and bound contaminants resulting in a "treat once" ability that spans across the various production units allowing for significant savings of chemicals and operational resources.

Optimal production reliability can now be achieved, it relates to efficient trouble free hydrocarbon production. The two main benefits of the Flotexx technology are related to Effluent and Crude Oil Behavior and the improvement of operational conditions. Typical crude oil - effluents create several operational challenges throughout its excursion from sand face to sales meter. Crude oil and Gas compositions along with TDS found in the water phase, result in surface tensions and deposits (organic/inorganic) that impact production equipment. These innate characteristics also provide challenges in phase separation, that inhibit efficient processing and result in a lower quality crude or oil laden water byproduct. Impedance free well bore, pipeline and processing conditions, lead to efficient and low cost production that impact the bottom line, environment, and stress / mental health of the operations group. Until now operational groups have had to involve several technologies to manage the deposits challenges found in the various flow conduits. Removing this constant battle is now enabling operators to optimize systems for efficiency rather than survival.
