The aim of the invention was, in part, to reduce the size of the large scale exercise machines commonly used in isotonic isolation exercises, whilst offering an alternative to the smaller, over-simplified or over-complicated devices that rely on bodyweight, gravity or rudimentary resistance mechanics. Therefore, the invention looks to improve on current devices in line with the present health and fitness needs of the proposed end users, offering a completely ergonomic approach for the wearer.
