A high speed , 20 second cure, exothermic coating, insulates against heat loss, corrosion and converts heat to energy.
About
I am a serial inventor in the downstream sector. i have 30 global patents, 50 further heat transfer innovations to remove fouling during production. This particular coating innovation just lacked funding. It was a succesfull prototype to replace lagging, convert heat to energy which would avoid under scale corrosion about 20 years ago. 1. Cures in 20 seconds 2. -50 to 200 deg C 3. No voc's 4. 500 % elasticity 5. one coat only - outlasts 2 coat epoxy on bow thruster of a ship 6. exothermic evaporates moisture on application 7. internal external surfaces 8. can be a temporary coating (peels off with a bond breaker) 9. requires SA 1 and sa2 finish 10. different colours available 11. drys in similar time scale whether 10 microns to 10mm 12, can be applied using a robot above or underwater immediately after surface blasting. Additional funding required was to develop it into a heat to energy conductive enmeshment for lagging of heat exchangers etc. thereby avoiding old fashioned lagging.
Key Benefits
this product was a prototype to seal into cracks of water tanks and leaking fissures 1. fast cure in 20 seconds, on wet surfaces 2. -10 to 100 deg C 3. No voc's 4. 500 % elasticity 5. one coat only finds its way into cracks and crevices and cures within 20 seconds - outlasts 2 coat epoxy on bow thruster of a ship 6. exothermic reaction evaporates moisture on application 7. used on internal external pipeline and vessel surfaces 8. can be designed as a permanent of a temporary coating 9. requires SA 1 finish only , raw concrete 10. different colours available 11. dries in similar time scale whether 10 microns to 10mm additional funding was to develop this into an heat to energy conductive enmeshment for lagging of heat exchangers and hot surfaces etc. thereby avoiding old fashioned lagging. it can cement concrete bricks together without cement
Applications
coats any leaking substrate, any material
