The IsoMat is a novel IP protected technology with multiple applications. Defined solutions already exist in the built environment, Battery cooling and refrigeration. There are other opportunities for the IP that as of yet have not been developed
Key Benefits
The IsoMat as a building cladding allows for the skin of a building to keep the weather out whilst have harvesting energy from the environment to allow a building to meet its energy needs. This includes electricity, thermal for heating, and comfort cooling. Research by ARUP has shown that its possible to build a home with IsoMat that costs the same as a traditional like for like build but then has no heating or hot water bills.
Applications
As a building cladding the target markets are new build homes, buildings with high occupancy or buildings with high thermal demands. In warm situations the IsoMat can be linked to an absorption chiller and meet cooling demands again all off grid
