My innovation focuses on the repairing of the skin through natural, organic ingredients. The products include a healing body butter, a body scrub, spot treatment and facial toner.
About
Ella Lou Organics is an innovation that started due to my experience working in Oncology. Seeing the number of patients that were diagnosed with Cancer, led me to research what we may be doing daily that could cause diseases. My research enlightened me to the toxins found in our everyday skincare products and encouraged me to start creating my own. As I did more research, I become aware of the healing properties in ingredients such as Seabuckthorn oil, Rosehip oil, Aloe Vera gel, and Lavender. By blending these ingredients, I experienced amazing results as the appearance of my strech marks, dark spots and loose skin reduced. Healing body butter: Blends of natural oils and butters that encourage skin to produce new skin cells. Mango butter, shea butter and rosehip oil will help heal and deeply moisturise the skin. Sea buckthorn oil is the key ingredient in this butter and is known for healing and rejuvenating effects on the skin. Aloe Vera Gel assists in healing burns, cuts, wounds and sunburns. Carrot oil works as a natural SPF, which helps protect the skin from Sun Cancer and ageing. Through scrubbing away dead skin cells, and regular moisturising will help reduce the appearance of stretch marks and dark spots, alongside tightening and firming skin. Toner: The organic facial toner works to tighten skin and shrink pores. Witch Hazel aids in clearing the skin as it removes dirt residue that may have been missed whilst cleansing. Aloe Vera Gel is one of the key ingredients in this as it helps heal the skin and tighten pores. Spot Treatment: The organic spot treatment has Tea Tree oil and Lemongrass oil that cleanses and dries out spots. The mix of Almond oil and Rosehip oil moisturises the area which prevents scaring.

The benefits of my innovation are that they provide users with a luxury and organic product for an affordable price. My main aim is to provide a product that is accessible to everyone, especially for those who want to use organic products only but may not be able to afford them now. The products help users who may have struggled with stretch marks, dark spots, loose skin or just dry skin as the use of the scrubs would help remove all dead skin cells, bringing forth a new, clear and soft layer. Using the body butter alongside this would help the skin to continue generating new skin cells, at a faster speed than it would do naturally. As all the materials used are ethically and sustainably sourced, this innovation would not cost the Earth, which would assist in reaching eco goals.

This innovation would apply to anyone who is looking to transition to toxin-free skincare products. Alongside this, it would appeal to customers who want to reduce their waste and have strong eco ethics as all packaging is 100% reusable or recyclable. Alongside this, I aim to provide a service which allows customers to return their glass packaging in return of a discount code. Lastly, this would be applicable to customers who are looking to reduce the appearance of dark spots, stretch marks, loose skin and dry skin.
