It changes what we know, how we think and how perceive security technology to work.  How It Works Glasswall operates across three distinct phases, analysis and reporting, policy management and enforcement finally delivering a secure, clean and compliant file to the user. Glasswall’s unique analysis approach breaks each file down to its component parts and conducts thousands of structure conformance checks against the respective software manufacturers design standard (in some cases an ISO standard). Glasswall also checks functional elements of files that could be considered a risk factor, such as JavaScript, Embedded URLs, Embedded malformed images, Active content, AcroForms and Macros. This level of granular analysis is delivered to a dashboard providing an administrator with a visual view of the ‘Risk Footprint’ of any given file or group of files, transient or static and thus the ability to apply policy and standards to deliver secure documents to the user estate. As Glasswall understands every element of a file we will identify non-conformances, correct minor errors or eliminate a hidden attack, which by definition would not conform to the design standard of the document. Armed with this intelligence Glasswall enables our users to enforce policy based on the risk posture of the organisation, business unit or even individual level. Finally Glasswall 'regenerates a new, compliant and clean substitute file maintaining business continuity and enabling the user to be confident in opening any file that has been processed by Glasswall with complete safety. The Glasswall product has been through many layers of penetration testing completed by enterprise customers, government, ethical hackers and testers and has never passed a threat (even custom written samples) and therefore delivers true protection in file based attacks. Delivery Platforms Glasswall launched its Enterprise Security Platform in 2015. The core product is portable and can deliver document security across multiple delivery protocols. With an average processing time of less than 250 milliseconds for a average 1-2MB file Glasswall is transparent to the user and operates in real time. Glasswall's email gateway security solution and is being integrated into our clients email: on premise, private cloud or mix of these architectures effectively as the last line of defence before incoming emails and attachments land on the organisations email servers. Glasswall is also available as a managed cloud based platform. Glasswall is routinely quarantining, cleaning and protecting our customers from zero-day attacks that have evaded their existing border anti-virus and security products. The result of successfully demonstrating the efficacy of Glasswall has resulted in additional new use cases being trialled such as a pre-sandbox filtering capacity, where Glasswall can analyse, apply policy and regenerate >98% of files reducing the volume of files being processed in the sandbox from 100% to <2%.
