my idea develops land and naval mines by two methods: first is by igniting a combination of compressed gas with or without TNT by electric arc and the other is by electrocuting the target such as Tank or submarine by high value of short circuit current. regular mines only use explosive material such as TNT and it is approximately about 5 KG of TNT that release explosive energy in air by amount of 10875000 = 10.875*10^6 Joules. The gas should be compressed to high values like 300 bar and above and we will use 500 bar at least to increase it explosive energy. We will use cheap gases that have heat capacity ratio near to 1 like Octane and Heptane for example. If we use only compressed gas such as Octane ignited by electric short circuit current valued by 8KA it will spread explosive energy valued by 12.97374*10^6 Joules and. This means that our new landmine is powerful than regular one with the same dimensions by 1.2 times at the very least. The mine will contain electric circuit which will be responsible to create enough short circuit current to ignite the compressed gas and TNT as well. The mine can use rods instead of using explosive material to electrocute targets such as submarines to kill its crew silently and without damaging the body of the target and this feature will be very important during technology theft.
